PortableApps是非常理常的隨身碟碟軟件，使用之後就好windows的start一樣，只不過start在左，但PortableApps是在右邊而已。

PortableApps 是英文軟體，PortableApps.com Suite™這套軟件有幾個版本， 標準版89.5MB, Live版30.4MB。還有一個超小型的基本版。適合不同朋友的需要。PortableApps.com Suite™包合含web browser瀏覽器, email client電郵, office suite辦公室軟件, calendar/scheduler, instant messaging client, antivirus防毒軟件, sudoku game數獨返戲, backup utility 備份and integrated menu等等。

web brower是使用firefox的免安裝版本，現時是3.0.8.1多國語言版。

email client也是Mozilla的 Thunderbird™。

office suite是一套開源的免費軟體，OpenOffice.org Portable，這套辦公室軟件不但有中文版本，還可以將檔案存成microsoft office的格式，方便在不同的電腦中使用，OpenOffice不但有隨身版本，還可以用在桌面電腦之中，是一套不可多得的免費軟件。
